Firstly, I was just trying to make the content portion wider, so that i could fit more in - in addition to widening it, it shrunk the text. I'm concerned for Bobturkey's eyes!

I had to remove the background image entirely, because the image would not change size.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to recenter the banner image, because blogger does it all funky. I'm also trying to change that stupid gif image used for lists - it drives me nuts.

I wouldn't be opposed to making the content area even wider, but I'm concerned that for some resolutions it might force a scroll bar down at the bottom.

If it were just basic HTML, I could figure it out no prob, but there's all this }, .post crap and i feel like I'm trying to communicate with an emo alien.

Hmmm... i've got an old blogger account i'm not using. lets see what i come up with.
